IACD continues this month to shine a light on climate action and the Oceania region. We’ve also highlighted the climate action contributions made by young people to their communities. In addition, we’re thrilled to make our members aware of conferences in Oceania, community development organizations in Australia and New Zealand that focus on climate action, and conferences for young people to come together to discuss best practices and develop innovative projects on ocean issues pertaining to marine pollution, climate change related impacts on the oceans, sustainable blue economy among others.
Today, we’re looking at how two communities across the world from each other have dealt with challenges from the elements.

The Impact of Bushfires on Communities in Australia
The United Nations Environment Program recently published their report on ten impacts of the Australian bushfires.
