GLOBAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT EXCHANGE LAUNCHED

For the past year we have been working closely with our partners in New Zealand at the Aotearoa Community Development Association to establish an on line repository of community development teaching and learning resources. The Global Community Development Exchange is a place where community development teachers, practitioners and learners can share their teaching and learning approaches, tools and resources. IACD members can register for GCDEX here https://globalcommunitydevelopmentexchange.org/about/join-the-exchange/

GCDEX is the initiative of IACD Training and Professional Development chair John Stansfield, who with colleagues at Unitec in New Zealand have designed this way for CD educators to be able to share courses and course materials online. The GCDEX was designed and developed by Katie Hay and tested by CD volunteers from IACD and ACDA.

GCDEX is free to all IACD members and we very much hope that whatever your job, you will deposit and share your resources to enable John and his team to build up the largest repository of CD teaching and learning resources in the world.

The Vault

ALL THE CONTENT OF THE GCDEX IS CATEGORISED AND SEPARATED INTO DIFFERENT SECTIONS AND SUB-SECTIONS TO HELP DIFFERENTIATE THE INFORMATION AND PRESENT USERS WITH A EASY TO NAVIGATE PLATFORM.
