IACD is Keen to Share Community Development Research

If you have undertaken research about community development, we are keen to share this. We are only able to share abstracts and links to full papers. Please send this information to info@iacdglobal.org

IACD also has close links with the Community Development Journal. You can submit research papers for possible publication to CDJ, which has its own Editorial Board and Editor, independent of IACD.

The leading international research journal in its field, CDJ covers a wide range of topics, reviewing significant developments and providing a forum for cutting-edge debates about theory and practice. It adopts a broad definition of community development to include policy, planning and action as they impact on the life of communities. CDJ particularly seek to publish critically focused articles which challenge received wisdom, report and discuss innovative practices, and relate issues of community development to questions of social justice, diversity and environmental sustainability.

“Community Development Journal is the outstanding international journal of its kind. It provides an excellent vehicle for scholars, educators, community development professionals, and grassroots workers to develop knowledge and exchange ideas about theory and practice worldwide.”
