IACD Membership Benefits

IACD connects people to each other, making the world a bit smaller. Joining the network as a member opens up these benefits:

• Special email updates about issues of particular interest to IACD members, in addition to our regular ebulletins
• Access to restricted areas of the IACD website, with opportunities for learning and practice exchange
• Opportunities to participate in study visits and other face-to-face learning events
• Discounted rates at IACD international conferences (up to 4 places for each organisation member)
• Discounted subscriptions to the international Community Development Journal
• Opportunities to share your work and experiences with a global audience, through our website, ebulletins, newsletters and other publications
• Support in sharing stories about your work with communities (if you are not a confident writer, or do not have time, we can set up interviews with you in English, French or Spanish)
• Opportunities to connect with others and to shape the direction of IACD by joining one of our task forces or working groups.

Membership Rates

IACD has individual and organisation membership categories. IACD also has separate membership categories for OECD and non-OECD countries (if you are not sure which applies, go to www.oecd.org/membercountries).

Membership rates (in £ sterling) are:

Non OECD Countries:

Individual membership:

One Year: £15 
Three years (for the price of two):  £30 
Life Membership: £150

Organisations:

For organisations with an annual turnover of less than £100,000:
One Year: £50  or Three years: £100

For organisations with an annual turnover between £100,000-£500,000:
One Year: £75 or Three years: £150

For organisations with an annual turnover over £500,000:
One Year: £150 or Three years: £300

OECD Countries: 

Individual membership:

One year: £30 sterling
Three years (for the price of two): £60
Life Membership: £300
Students £10 per year

Organisations:

For organisations with an annual turnover of less than £100,000:
One Year: £100  or Three years: £200

For organisations with an annual turnover between £100,000-£500,000:
One Year: £150 or Three years: £300

For organisations with an annual turnover over £500,000:
One Year: £300 or Three years: £600

How to Join

Please complete the membership application form, downloadable below, and send it by e.mail to membership@iacdglobal.org or fax to +44 (0)1337 858120. You can pay your membership subscription via the following methods:

1. Use PayPal online to pay your fees using your PayPal account or your credit card. Please indicate you wish to pay by PayPal on your application form and we will send you a link and unique code to make your payment online.
2. Make an international bank transfer of funds.  For bank transfer details, please contact IACD at membership@iacdglobal.org
   
3. Fill out the attached membership application and send it together with a cheque in pounds sterling  (mailing information included on application form).  U.S. Dollar or AUS Dollar cheques are subject to an additional $10 fee.
4. Deposit fees in a UK or Australian bank account. Please contact IACD at membership@iacdglobal.org for account information.

Once we process your membership, you will receive a welcome letter, receipt and membership certificate.  You will also be signed up to receive our e-bulletin and our newsletter.
