NEW – Portuguese translation of the International Standards for Community Development now out!

Towards Shared International Standards for Community Development Practice

IACD first published the International Standards for Community Development in June 2018 at the Ireland World Community Development Conference. The Standards have been adopted widely both internationally and by several national professional CD associations. To date, we have produced the Standards in an additional twelve languages.

In an effort to make the Standards useful to practitioners, researchers, educators, and students around the world, we have produced a Summary version of the Standards as well. The Summary Standards were written in English and have subsequently been translated into six more languages.

You can access, download, and share all translations here: https://www.iacdglobal.org/international-standards-accreditation/standards/

Portuguese translation now available

We are delighted to share that the Standards are now available to read, download, and share in Portuguese!

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to IACD member Mário Montez for his work on this translation, and to the team that supported Mário. IACD would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Suzanne Bickerdike for designing this translation. You can see more of Suzanne’s work here: http://www.smbdesignworks.co.uk/about/
