On Wednesday 8th September, Nancy Biwott (IACD member, Social Inclusion Facilitator / Blogger, Umoja na Usawa Network) and John Cornwell (Member, Umoja na Usawa Network) delivered a fantastic presentation to members of IACD. The topic was “Social Inclusion and Community Development,” and the presentation along with excerpts from the discussion following small-group breakout rooms can be viewed below.
Fittingly, this was one of our most interactive webinars ever! Participants used platforms to answer questions in large group discussions and breakout rooms were organized for smaller group discussions. After these discussions, participants from each small group came back together to discuss their answers to the question, “how can we more effectively promote inclusion in our community development practice?” Their answers can all be read by clicking the orange button below to view the summary document.
