International Standards for Community Development Practice and Summary Standards: Latest Translations!

Towards Shared International Standards for Community Development

IACD published the International Standards for Community Development in June 2018 at the Ireland World Community Development Conference. The adoption of these Standards internationally and by several national professional CD associations and their subsequent translation in a dozen languages, with more currently being translated, is evidence that this work has resonated strongly with practitioners, employers and CD educators across the world and are already being used to inform course design.

Multilingual IACD

IACD is strongly committed to providing high-quality resources to all of our members across the globe in as many languages as possible. To that end, we currently have twelve translations of our full Standards and six translations of our Summary Standards. Our most recent translations, just launched today, are the Chinese translation of the Standards and the Ukrainian translation of the Summary Standards. You can find both below and you can access all translations by clicking here.

Watch this space for even more translations! The Spanish translation of our Summary Standards is in the design phase and we are also working on a Hindi translation.
