Dimitrios Papalexis is a member of IACD and founder of Soul Gen, an organization whose aim it is to inspire and empower individuals and communities to connect to each other and share their stories, ignite their passion and creativity and share their gifts so they can increase their happiness and well-being . Based in Australia, Dimitrios’s podcast, “ABCD On The Go” presents innovative community and youth driven initiatives and interviews with individuals and organizations involved directly in community development.
Launched in April 2020, ABCD On The Go immediately began its broadcasts by highlighting several community-related issues on the rise due to the spread of Covid-19. In the first episode, the topic of navigating difficult emotions and what community development practitioners can do to help themselves and their communities during this time was discussed. Other episodes covered the power of youth-led practices and what communities are doing to respond to Covid-19.
