Practice Insights Magazine
Practice Insights magazine was launched by IACD in 2012. It is published two or three times a year, and provides an opportunity for members and invited writers to share their work. It includes special issues on themes such as poverty, empowerment, the contribution of community development in addressing the Sustainable Development Goals, and most recently — disability.
Russian Translation
IACD is absolutely thrilled to announce that for the first time ever, Practice Insights has been translated into another language! It is always the goal of IACD to be as inclusive as possible — our International Standards for Community Development have been translated into nine languages with two more translations to be released in the coming months.
The latest issue of Practice Insights focused on disability and community development, and this is the issue that has been translated. The Russian edition is available to read and download below.
Upcoming Issues of Practice Insights
The next two issues in the works are our special issue on Women in Community Development and the 2019 World Community Development Conference. Submissions for both issues have been finalized, but watch this space for calls for articles for future issues!
