Spotlight on: Contributions from IACD Directors and Members to the Community Development Journal

IACD and the Community Development Journal

IACD has a long history with the Community Development Journal. In 1967 some members of the association were involved with the setting up of the journal. Published by Oxford University Press, CDJ is independent of IACD and has become the premier academic journal in our field. Marj Mayo, former IACD and CDJ Board member, reflects upon these early years in this film.

The Community Development Journal is published four times a year. It has been the leading international journal in our field for more than half a century, covering a wide range of topics, reviewing significant developments and providing a forum for cutting-edge debates about theory and practice.

Abstracts from Community Development Journal are translated into FrenchSpanish, and Chinese and are free to read online.
