The video of the award ceremony at the Inclusive Practices Festival can be watched here. A transcript of the English portion of the announcement has been transcribed below:

This year, Inclusive Practices introduced an award for the best idea to implement the IACD international standards. All the entries I have looked at were of a very, very high standard and the quality was exceptional.  It made the decision very hard, and I could have awarded all of them.  It really is heart-warming to see how people are working w the standards and looking at ways in which they can be implemented.  But for me, there was one project that stood out because the ideas in it were not just about promoting inclusion, but challenging exclusion as well.  Within community development, it is very important that we work to bring people in, but also recognize when people are being prevented from being included.  There was one project in particular that promoted the raising of awareness of inclusion with everyone in society, working with civil society organizations to challenge stereotypes and misinformation.  And so through this project, I felt that everyone would benefit – all of society, and that we would all grow in strength and understanding and connectedness.  And so the winner of this award is Farrukh Ahrorov from Tajikistan.
