Current Membership Statistics
We currently have 540 members from every region of the globe. Our members come from 75 different countries, and they are practitioners, researchers, students, academics, and community workers.
Current Members — FINAL CALL to participate in our IACD Membership Survey
If you are a current member of IACD, you will have received emails in the last month prompting you to complete our IACD Membership Survey. We are closing the survey on Friday, 8th November — so please tell us your views before then!
The Board of IACD is in the process of reviewing and updating the association’s four-year strategic work plan 2020-2024 and we would like your views and ideas.
Our membership has increased significantly in recent years with representation from practitioners, programme managers, educators and facilitators, researchers and students of community development. We are very keen to involve our members in shaping the way forward with our strategy in order to strengthen the voice of community development globally and regionally.
We are inviting our members to contribute their views and ideas through a link to the survey that was emailed to all members.
We do not ask for your name or contact details and the responses are anonymous. We will use the information provided to shape our new Strategy. We will also publish a summary of the survey responses on our website towards the end of 2019.
For Students
All students currently studying toward a degree in community development are eligible for one year of free student membership. After your first year, as long as you are still a student, the fee for membership with IACD is just £5 per year. Apply to join us today!
