IACD has Regional Directors that serve on our Board from all over the world. We have representation from each of the nine IACD Regions — East Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, North America, Oceania, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Sub-Sahara Africa.

This month and next month, IACD’s Regional Director for Oceania (Dee Brooks) and IACD’s Country Correspondent for Australia (Michelle Dunscombe) are facilitating informal catch-ups for IACD members in locations around Australia. IACD’s European Directors, Clare MacGillivray and Colette McGarva
On Wednesday, 23rd October, IACD Director Clare MacGillivray will attend the 2019 Participatory Budgeting Scotland Annual Conference in Edinburgh. The theme this year is, “Making Good PB Happen.” Although this even is fully booked, they will be tweeting throughout the day and will have full report out soon after. Check out @pb_scotland for updates through the day.
A couple days later, Colette McGarva will attend the Scottish Community Development Network 2019 Conference in Glasgow on Friday, 25th October. The theme of this conference is “Back to the Future II,” and interested parties may register here.
