Practice Exchange is the name we have adopted for small study trips which we have organised for several years to different parts of the world. These trips, normally involving between 10-20 practitioners and community development trainers from different countries, are where they together spend several days visiting community development projects in another country. Here they will meet with local community development experts and local activists. A key feature of a Practice Exchange is the time for discussion and reflection during and after each project visit. In recent years our Practice Exchanges have tended to focus upon different aspects of sustainable development.

On this drop down you will find more information about our Practice Exchange programmes and the many workshops we organise as part of our International and Regional events.
