At the core of many of our divisions globally is systemic racism. To mark International Week of Solidarity with the Peoples Struggling against Racism and Racial Discrimination IACD hosted a special Meeting of the Global Community Development Educators Forum on 30 March 2026. 

During the meeting we asked:

-How do we ensure students view addressing racism as a non-negotiable core of their practice?
- How does our current curriculum equip students with the skills to challenge discrimination?
- What are strategies that work across different cultural and political landscapes?
