Find out more about the International Standards for Community Development from this series of IACD podcasts. There is also a book dedicated entirely to the International Standards for Community Development.

The Standards can be used by practitioners working directly with communities, community development educators and researchers, and practitioners within government agencies and NGOs. IACD members are using them to:

  • Plan and evaluate work
  • Promote what practitioners are doing
  • Plan learning curricula
  • Support student learning and assessment of progress.

See more about how the Standards are being used below.
