Join us for an IACD Global Community Development Researchers' Forum Meeting on Thursday 23rd October 2025 exploring Indigenous-led community research on Warlpiri Country in central Australia

Community researchers from the Yitaki-maninjaku, warririnin-jaku, payirninjaku manu pina-jarrinjaku (YWPP) team of Indigenous community researchers will share their story of community-led research on Warlpiri Country in central Australia. Guided by the Indigenous community leaders of the Warlpiri Education and Training Trust, and supported by community development workers at the Central Land Council, the YWPP team undertakes research that brings community voices to program planning, decision-making and political advocacy.

The YWPP team hope this dialogue will be of interest to other First Nations researchers, those interested in decolonial research practice and CD workers supporting community-led research projects.
