We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Asnarulkhadi Abu Samah from Malaysia was appointed a new Board member at the AGM last week in Ireland. Asnaru is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Development Sciences, University Putra Malaysia, and now serves as the Director at the Institute for Social Science Studies, University Putra Malaysia. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of community development and community work and has been actively involved in community development research, particularly in climate change and human adaptability, community empowerment, public health, and indigenous people. Besides, he is also engaged in education and training on the community work modules for community-based organisations, non-governmental organisations, and government agencies.
