IACD Chair, Anna Clarke was delighted to be invited to give a keynote address at the 10th Anniversary Community Development Summer School held in Zagreb, Croatia this week. Attended by social workers using community development approaches in their work, Anna spoke about IACD and its work promoting the discipline and practice of community development, and sharing insights through national and international examples. During Anna’s input, the Croatian translation of the IACD Shared International Standards for Community Development Practice was launched. Sincere thanks to Croatia member Ana Opačić from Zagreb University and colleagues, who undertook the translation, and to Suzanne Bickerdike of SMB Design Works for her swift design turnaround!
