We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing Trustees: Paul Lachapelle, Anastasia Crickley, Anastasia Matvievskaya and Denise Bijoux. Anastasia Crickely and Paul Lachapelle have both served three full terms of office, both giving nine years of service. Paul served as Chair for three years and also co-Chaired the Publications and Professional Development Committee. During her nine years on the Board Anastasia Crickley served as Vice Chair for 3 years, chaired the International and National Relations Committee, chaired and organised the 2018 World Community Development Conference in Maynooth, Ireland and has continuously represented IACD at various UN fora. Anastasia Matvievskaya was instrumental in connecting IACD with a wide membership across the post-Soviet space, leading translations of the International Standards in several languages and chairing and hosting the 2022 virtual World Community Development Conference from Ureki, Georgia. Denise has extended IACD’s connections throughout Aotearoa/New Zealand and played a key role in supporting planning for the 2023 WCDC in Darwin, Australia. We wish them all well with their future plans.
