Our Student Members
IACD is proud to offer one year of free membership to all students who are studying toward degrees in community development. Through this program, we have added many talented young people to our numbers, and the differences they are making in the world should be celebrated.
Update from Current Student Member, Kathryn Cameron
Today, Kathryn Cameron, student member of IACD, wrote to us to update IACD on the progress she’s making in her studies. Kathryn is currently completing her master of social work (professional qualifying) and doing her last compulsory work placement subject at an Aboriginal land council in NSW Australia. She has just also commenced a masters in pastoral studies in ageing and has several assessments completed in areas such as personhood, finding meaning, spiritual or higher power importance at end-of-life — and also, reconciliation at end of life.
