IACD has an update and special message from World Community Development Conference 2020 Chair, Dr. Daniel Muia:
Further to our earlier communication dated 21st March 2020, this is to foremost thank you for being so understanding despite the obvious inconvenience the postponement of the conference might have caused.
The COVID-19 situation continues to be a challenge and our thoughts are with all the affected and infected – may they find comfort.
This letter serves to put it on record that WCDC2020 was not CANCELLED but POSTPONED to 21st to 23rd June 2021 and Practice Exchange to 24th to 25th June 2021 – and therefore WCDC2020 transitioned to WCDC2021 in Nairobi Kenya.
Consequently all accepted abstracts as well as all registration fees/ticket are carried forward to WCDC2021.
In the event you have not yet received a receipt upon your payment of
registration fees, kindly forward to us a copy of bank transfer details
so that we could issue you with a receipt.Kindly keep safe and well and we look forward to seeing you in Nairobi in June 2021.
