Women in Community Development — Last Call for Articles

IACD is publishing our Women and Community Development issue of Practice Insights Magazine early this spring, and there are just a few more days to submit your article!

If you are a woman working in community development, your voice is greatly valued and we are asking you to contribute your thoughts to this issue.  If you work with women locally, nationally, or globally, we want to hear from you — what has your experience been like?  If you are involved in research relating to women’s empowerment or public policy, we want to hear from you — what are your findings?  Book reviews are also very welcome.  We want to hear from a wide range of voices, so reach out and please don’t discount the impact your voice may have in this issue.

All papers should be between 1000-1500 words, but book reviews should just be up to 500 words.  We also ask that you include high res photos or images with your article.

We ask that you submit your article no later than 1st February, 2020 via email to the co-editors, Maryam Ahmadiam (marydian50@gmail.com) and Anita Paul (apaul@grassrootsindia.com).  If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to email myself or the editors and we will be happy to help.
