On 3rd December, IACD will join millions around the world in celebrating the United Nation’s International Day of People with Disabilities. The 2019 theme for this day is, “the future is accessible.”
It’s only fitting that IACD should release the latest version of our Practice Insights magazine, a special issue focusing on Community Development and Disability. This issue will be published following the International Day of People with Disabilities, and we will also be highlighting news relating to people with disabilities and community development on our Facebook page and website throughout December.
The magazine will contain a dozen articles – from the USA to Georgia, Kazakhstan to Canada, Nigeria to the Philippines and more. All current IACD members will receive this issue directly via email. If you are not yet a member of IACD and wish to receive this issue, please consider joining us next month! We are temporarily pausing the processing of memberships until mid-December.
