IACD is pleased to appoint our newest Country Correspondent for Kenya, Elizabeth Diego.
Elizabeth is a Community Development Expert at Water Resources Authority in Kenya. She brings to IACD-Global experience in project management, resource mobilization for community-led projects, monitoring and evaluation of projects and stakeholder engagement. She also brings community development transformation stories through water resources projects incorporating climate change, livelihood and flood management.
She works alongside geologists, hydrologists, engineers, chemists and water rights experts in implementing water resources activities through community groups known as Water Resource Users Associations across Kenya. This has built her capacity in translating science to communities for implementation.
Elizabeth adds, “I shall be sharing short stories of community in different parts of Kenya as I welcome partnership and ideas from around the globe .”
