It’s very fitting that in the week we celebrated International Youth Day, new student members pushed our total numbers to 500 organisational and individual members.
We are thrilled to welcome these new student members, and we were very curious about their motivations for joining us, their goals, and what they want to want to contribute. Here is just a small sample of some of the impressive answers we received:
“I am interested in meeting with and supporting people from all cultures and backgrounds. I have met with refugees and been involved in ESOL delivery, connections cafes, and sourcing information to aid daily life in the UK…”

“I have an absolute passion for everything Community Development with a particular focus on asset-based abd placed-based models working at a neighbourhood level…”
IACD now has at least one student member in each of our global regions!
Students are welcome to one year of free membership with us, with the fee rising to £5 per year until graduation. Please click here to apply as student member!
