We are pleased to announce the appointment of Sara Shakilla binti Mohd Salim as the association’s first correspondent for Malaysia. Sara graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia in Master of Science (Community Development). She is a researcher and practitioner in community development activities in Malaysia. Sara has written on her work in journals and articles especially on the development of the native people in the Peninsular Malaysia. She is actively involved in Malaysia’s empowerment community projects and set up an organization called Gemeinschaft Resources focusessing upon research and practical projects for the community development in Malaysia. She also plays a part as a trainer of community development practitioners in Malaysia.
