New Managing Editor of IACD’s magazine appointed

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah Albin as the Managing Editor of Practice Insights, IACD’s flagship magazine. Deborah takes over from Past President Charlie McConnell, who has been the Managing Editor since 2016.

Deborah Albin is very pleased and excited to take on the role of managing editor of Practice Insights.  Deb is a member of Montana State University Extension’s Community Development program, where she focuses on intergenerational and diversity programming.  She previously spent ten years with MSU Extension’s Family & Human Development program, where she managed the state-wide Montana Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Project and offered programming in caregiver self-care and stress management.  Deb has earned a B.A. in sociology and an M.S. in public relations and her previous magazine experience includes acting as writer and editor for Lives & Landscapes, the magazine of MSU Extension (http://msuextension.org/magazine/) and writer and circulation director for RIVER: The Magazine of Moving Water. A third-generation native Montanan, Deb makes her home in Bozeman and is an avid reader, film buff, fly fisherwoman and baseball fan.
