Randy Adams presented with Global Ambassador Award

Randy Adams, who has retired as Vice President was presented with the Global Ambassador Award by incoming President Paul Lachapelle at the Minnesota conference. Randy is  a past President of the American Community Development Society (CDS) and for many years worked with the US Peace Corps in over forty countries. Latterly Randy was the Executive Director of the Rural Community Assistance Partnership (RCAP) in the U.S. The Global Ambassador Award was presented to Randy in 2016, in acknowledgement of his international development work with the Peace Corps. Randy was chair of the IACD Policy Committee and latterly managed the global mapping of CD education courses, the report of which was presented at the 2015 AGM. He also initiated IACD’s Country Correspondents. Randy will remain an IACD representative at the United Nations.
