We shall be presenting the initial results of our mapping study of community development under graduate level courses around the world, at the Community Development Journal’s 50th Anniversary conference. The presentation, combined with our Annual General Meeting, will take place on Thursday, 2nd July 2015, 6.00-7.30pm at the MacDonald Holyrood Hotel, Edinburgh, UK. Our discussion will focus on patterns emerging from the research, lessons learnt and challenges encountered. This event is open to CDJ conference delegated and IACD members. Contact membership@iacdglobal.org to register your attendance.

IACD’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Mapping Presentation will be broadcast LIVE, giving our members the opportunity to listen in! You will also be able to send in your questions and comments via online chat from anywhere in the world during the event this Thursday 2 July from 6pm – 7.30pm (British Summer Time). The link to the audio stream is http://mixlr.com/iacd

To be able to chat and send your comments, you will need to create a Mixlr account or sign-in via Facebook. This is the first time we are facilitating this so please bear with us if we’re experiencing technical difficulties!

All current IACD members have been sent the agenda, list of candidates for election to the Board of Directors, annual accounts and other supporting papers so please check your inboxes. Our Annual Review of the last year is also online. Although only members attending in person will be able to vote at the AGM, we really hope that this will allow many more members to participate in our AGM and engage with the association wherever they are located in the world!

We look forward to you joining us next week whether in person or online!
