On 23rd October IACD hosted a Global Community Development Researchers' Forum Meeting exploring Indigenous-led community research on Warlpiri Country in central Australia.

Community researchers from the Yitaki-maninjaku, warririnin-jaku, payirninjaku manu pina-jarrinjaku (YWPP) team of Indigenous community researchers shared their story of community-led research on Warlpiri Country in central Australia. Guided by the Indigenous community leaders of the Warlpiri Education and Training Trust, and supported by community development workers at the Central Land Council, the YWPP team undertakes research that brings community voices to program planning, decision-making and political advocacy.
