Over the past year, IACD members from across Europe have come together to explore how shifting political landscapes — including rising populism, austerity, and growing inequality — are shaping our work and our communities. Our last meeting highlighted both the challenges — from funding cuts to practitioner burnout — and the resilience, creativity, and solidarity that continue to define community development across Europe.

Members and colleagues joined again on 20th November for a gathering on Community Development Across Europe: Reflecting on 2025 and Looking Ahead to 2026.

During the session we:
