IACD Members Networking Events in London and Dundee

Come learn more about IACD by attending a networking event in your area.  In September, IACD members met up at the University of Westminster to officially launch the International Community Development Programme.  Last month, members met up in Scotland.

In September, IACD members met up at the University of Westminster to officially launch the International Community Development Programme.  This innovative and dynamic programme is the first of its kind in Europe, and prides itself on critically engaging students' understanding of the interface between International Community Development and the role it plays in the development process.
Local IACD members gathered over wine and food and met with the students and professors of this course.

On Friday, March 26th IACD members and those interested in learning more about IACD met up in Dundee, Scotland for an afternoon of discussion and networking.
This seminar event included three great presentations.  The first by Fraser Patrick, Convenor of the Dundee Nablus Twinning Association, the second by Dr María Teresa Martínez Domínguez, Researcher with the One Planet Food Project  on supporting indigenous people in Ecuador and the third by Dr Eurig Scandrett, Lecturer in Sociological Theory at Queen Margaret University College and Fellow of Centre for Human Ecology on global Injustice and Recovery in Bhopal

There was a lively group discussion and networking time.
