    Make a donation to IACD to help support the local group in Pakistan respond to the flooding disaster.  Every little bit helps and will be used to support the work of the IACD local group.
  • The First Caty Kyne Memorial Scholarship Awarded

    Caty Kyne was the Victoria, Australia IACD local group convenor who tragically passed away in 2009.  With a generous bequest from her estate, the IACD local group in Victoria has set up the Caty Kyne Memorial Scholarship Award.  Amungwa Fonteh, an IACD member since 2005, received the first Caty Kyne Memorial Scholarship Award.

  • IACD Members Networking Events in London and Dundee

    Come learn more about IACD by attending a networking event in your area.  In September, IACD members met up at the University of Westminster to officially launch the International Community Development Programme.  Last month, members met up in Scotland.

    IACD is partnering with Carnegie UK Trust to produce a report which examines asset-based rural development in detail and in a global context.

    The International Association for Community Development (IACD) in partnership with Nurture Development Africa and the Coady Institute will be hosting the First East African Summit on Asset-Based Approaches to Community Development, to be held in Nairobi, Kenya from the 25th – 27th of November 2009.
