FOOD REVOLT! An International Conference on Food
With representatives from Via Campesina and food projects from across Europe, this one-day conference organised by the Fife Diet will explore the local food movement in the global context. The Conference will take place on the 12th November 2011 in Kinghorn, Fife, Scotland.
The Fife Diet is a consumer network of people interested in local food. Based in Fife, Scotland, it has grown from a small voluntary network into the largest local food movement in Europe. It aims to connect the consumer with the farmer, stimulate the local economy and strengthen the community by creating meaningful relationships through food, at the same time reducing carbon emissions.
