Tiago Miguel de Seixas Fonseca da Silva

Tiago M. de Seixas is based in Lisbon, Portugal. He has an academic background in Community Development and a Masters degree in Community Psychology.

From over six years, he has been working and researching homelessness in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon, fostering collaboration processes based upon a psychosocial model of integration.
Nowadays, he is an Assistant in the Community Development Programme at University Institute - ISPA, Lisbon, Portugal and he is currently carrying out a collaborative research between a university-based team and a grassroots community organisation. The purpose of this work is to examine cultural and environmental characteristics that led to the involvement of these community leaders within their contexts.
