Aileen Boyer is currently employed as CEO of Armadale Community Family Centre, a local community development agency based in Perth, Western Australia. Aileen has been involved in adult community education and community development as a practitioner for over 12 years and has worked on various advisory committees during this time.

Currently she is President of Learning Centre Link, a peak body for community organisations in Western Australia. Aileen has been researching community economic development and sustainable livelihoods and developing tools that promote leadership at local level through an autonomous approach.
