Second IACD Correspondent for Canada appointed

We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Association’s second Correspondent for Canada, Janice Seto. Janice, who works in Manitoba, only recently became aware that her professional life over three decades from the cold treeless Arctic to the dry hot Arabian desert to the hot humid tropics can be summed up as … a stealth CD practitioner ! After graduating with her BSc, she trained as a teacher and later studied for a Master’s degree in Business. Her PsyD focused on personality and employee wellness in the context of organizational health. She has self-published and teaches her non-traditional students how to do so. Janice currently teaches community economic development at the University College of the North and is also a member of the Canadian Community Economic Development Network.

IACD Country Correspondents are responsible for:

1.  posting news about CD and development issues in their country regularly on the IACD members’ Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/groups/IACDglobal/
2.  promoting IACD in their country and encourage colleagues to join the association.

We are very keen to encourage IACD members to become correspondents for their country.

The post is unpaid, as are all Board members. If you would like to become a Country Correspondent and we have a vacancy for your country, please contact membership@iacdglobal.org marking your e mail Country Correspondent Application. Please send a short paragraph about yourself and your CD work, plus a picture of yourself. We’d love to hear from you!
