IACD East Asia Director Kwok Kin Fung is continuing to raise the profile of community development and IACD, with a presentation on globalisation and community development at Xianyang 咸陽, Xian, China yesterday. The event was hosted by Xianyang Civil Affairs Ministry.
During 2017. Kwok Kin Fung has delivered talks on globalization and community development in cities across China. KK has also been raising awareness of sustainable community development and community development policies. He has introduced the IACD to several hundred university teachers, social workers in community work settings, students and government officials. The cities covered include Hangzhou (Zhejiang Province), Suzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan and Shenzhen (Guangzhou Province) and Hong Kong.
